Tradition of offering thanks continues

The faith communities of DARLA (the Dover Area Religious Leaders Association) will gather for Thanksgiving worship on Sunday evening, November 24th, at 7 PM, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church (corner of Locust and Hale Streets in downtown Dover).

As in the past four or five years, the service will be comprised of “offerings” that each faith community makes, to say thanks to God for the provisions of the year. There will be readings, silence, instrumental music, vocal anthems, a massed choir, and more.

Offering will be received at the service. Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and/or personal care items for the Dover Cooperative Ministries Food Pantry. A financial offering will also be received for the Dover Friendly Kitchen.
