KATRINA MISSION TEAM ANNUAL SUPPER & UPDATE

The 2014 Katrina Mission Team invites the congregation and community to our annual fund raiser supper on Saturday, December 14 from 4:30 to 6:00pm. Roast turkey and Chef Mike’s Louisiana sides help make this a special holiday season event, along with the usual Bolian family decorations and music.

All proceeds go towards supporting team members needing financial assistance. Because Easter falls at the beginning of area school vacation week, we cannot spend our usual four days on the road to and from New Orleans. Each team member must raise the additional funds for the Southwest Airlines airfare, in order to commit to working five days with the St. Bernard Project.

We depart Easter Sunday afternoon, April 20, 2014 and return home the following Sunday. The projected fee is $235, plus $300 estimated airfare and admission to Jazz & Heritage Fest on Saturday, April 27. The minimum age is fourteen, and participants do not need to be members of St. John’s.

Information Night is scheduled for Friday, January 31 at 6:30pm.
