Pati Frew-Waters, the Executive Director of Seacoast Family Promise will be with us for worship on Sunday, January 26th. We will hear of the vital ministry that is provided through SFP.
SFP is an organization celebrating 10 years of “Guiding Families Home.” Their Mission is to empower families experiencing homelessness to achieve lasting self-sufficiency.
From their website, “As a New Hampshire 501(c)(3) nonprofit, serving local families with children under the age of 18 experiencing homelessness, Seacoast Family Promise understands that the problem of poverty is complex. It won’t yield to a simple solution or a quick fix. It requires an integrated approach that begins with meeting immediate needs but reaches much further to help people achieve lasting self-sufficiency.
“By offering compassionate guidance, shelter, and education through an overnight hospitality network of local faith congregations and community partners, our goal is to strengthen families and our community.”
Be sure to attend worship on January 26th to hear this special story.
