Enjoy a delicious turkey dinner Saturday June 6 at St. John’s Methodist in Dover, and help to address an important community issue as well!

From 4:30-6pm, we’re serving roast turkey with pan gravy, sour cream mashed potatoes, green beans and corn, home-made biscuits, beverages and dessert bar. The cost for the dinner is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors and veterans, and $4 for kids under 12. VISA, Mastercard and Discover accepted.

At 6pm, all are invited to hear Michael DeLeon, founder of the addiction recovery and prevention organization Steered Straight, speak on how communities can battle the increasing heroin crisis. This talk is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served following the presentation. Feel free to attend either one or both of these events. The dinner proceeds raise funds for both DeLeon’s organization, Steered Straight, and for local recovery organizations.
