A Christmas Concert to benefit Dover Children’s Home
The music ministry of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Dover presents its annual Christmas Concert at 6:30 pm Sunday December 6 to benefit Dover Children’s Home. This year’s concert, “Here Is Love”, includes children, youth, and adults in various choirs, praise teams, and ensembles offering their musical gifts through voice, instrument, and dance to honor the birth of Jesus. The program features the music of such well-known artists as Kari Jobe, Michael W. Smith, Chris Tomlin, and more.
We will give many gifts this Christmas season for many reasons. God’s gift to us came in the form of a little baby: “Here is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.” Here is Jesus, born to die so that we might live. Here is love.
We hope that you will join us and that our music will touch your heart in a new and meaningful way. There is no charge for the concert but we invite you to make a freewill offering. Please give generously so that we may share your love and ours with the children of Dover Children’s Home during this season of giving.
