St. John’s Christmas Concert Sunday December 4 celebrates Christ’s birth with joyous music, desserts and support for the community.

Join the musicians of St. John’s on Sunday, December 4 for a wonderful evening of divine music and delectable desserts as we celebrate Christmas by doing good for others in the community!

This year, our concert will be held at 6pm December 4, in the spacious surroundings of the Dover Elks Lodge, 282 Durham Rd, Dover.

We hope “Peace on Earth”, our Christmas concert, will lift your spirits and help open your mind and heart to the birth of the Christ child. At the same time, a free will offering will honor Christ by doing His work here on earth, supporting efforts to combat the drug and alcohol addiction crisis in our area.

We are honored to support the Triangle Club of Dover, which offers a chemical-free meeting place for people in recovery. The organization’s mission is “to promote the spiritual, physical, and mental health of people in recovery from addiction to alcohol, heroin, and other substances, and to provide a safe place for those who acknowledge that staying substance-free is of primary importance.”

Expect a rich evening of choral, small group, solo and instrumental Christmas music, sweetened by desserts, beverages, great fellowship and most of all, the opportunity to do God’s work here in our community. Questions? See Steve MacKenzie or any choir member. We hope to see all of you there, and bring your friends and family!
