Easter Sunday at St. John’s will ring with praise and celebration – over and over!

We’ll begin with a Sunrise Service, led by the youth in our Middle School/High School Sunday School class. It will begin at 6 AM, and take place at our outdoor chapel, beside the Bellamy River. (Note: this is a “new/old” service, which the Worship Committee has planned following input from the congregation last year. We are combining our outdoor “First Fire” service with our “Sunrise Service” which, in recent years, has been held in the sanctuary.)

Easter Breakfast will have its own form of praise as resurrection people gather around a table of fellowship, to enjoy one another’s company as well as the special spirit of the day. Breakfast will be served immediately following the Sunrise Service – or about 7 AM.
Then Easter Worship will be led by our mighty Pipe Organ, handbells and Choir. We will have two very similar services, at 9 and 11 AM (Please note the later beginning time for our second Sunday morning service). The glorious message of hope and triumph over sin and death will be proclaimed through scripture and sermon.

All of these services will be wonderful opportunities for members and friends of St. John’s Church to invite friends and family members who don’t have a church home. Please pray for direction, that you might know who to invite. Then come . . . worship the Lord . . . for Christ in risen! . . . Christ is risen indeed!
